Terms of service

These terms apply to purchases from the Snippet Crate online store, operated by CEDAR MIREO LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us"). By buying or downloading a product, you agree to these terms.

1. What we sell

We sell digital products: source code, templates and related files, delivered as downloads after payment. Nothing is shipped. Each product page lists what the download contains, the stack and versions, the file format and size, and the system requirements.

2. Licenses

A purchase gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product. The license tier you choose at checkout appears in your order confirmation.

Personal license: one person may use the product in their own projects, including learning, portfolio and non-commercial work.
Commercial license: one person or one company may use the product in commercial projects, including client work and products that earn revenue.

Under every license you may modify the code and use it inside your own projects. You may not resell, share, sublicense or redistribute the product, or any substantial part of it, as source code, a template, a starter kit or a competing product, whether free or paid. You may not remove copyright notices from the files.

Third-party components inside a product (for example open-source libraries) remain under their own licenses.

3. Ownership

We, or our licensors, keep ownership of the products. The license gives you the right to use them; it doesn't transfer ownership.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars at checkout. Taxes are calculated at checkout where they apply. Payment is processed by Shopify and its payment partners; we don't see or store your full card details.

5. Delivery and access

After payment you receive download links by email and on the order status page. Please keep your files: download links may be limited in number or time. If a link doesn't work, contact us and we'll send a new one.

6. Refunds

Refunds follow our Refund policy.

7. Updates and support

Any updates or support offered for a product are described on that product's page. We aren't obliged to provide updates or support beyond what that page states.

8. No warranty

Products are provided "as is". We aim for working, well-described code, but we don't promise that a product will be error-free, secure for every use, or suitable for your specific purpose. You are responsible for reviewing, testing and securing code before you use it in production.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data arising from the use of a product, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

10. Ending a license

If you break these terms, your license ends and you must stop using and delete the product. A refunded order also ends the license granted by that order.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force when you buy applies to that purchase.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without affecting mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
